Q&A: What time does your body expect to get breakfast?
Question by olivia: What time does your body expect to get breakfast?
I try to eat breakfast everyday because if you don’t it slows your metabolism down, but I wake up really late during the summer, (around 11, 11:30), and I’m worried I’ not eating early enough. Will my body think I’ve skipped breakfast if I’m still sleeping? Will it slow my metabolism down? What time should I try to wake up and eat?

it’s fine if you’re sleeping in, just make sure you eat within 30 minutes of getting up in the morning! also make sure you’re eating small amounts throughout the entire day and drinking lots of water to keep your metabolism boosted.

regular time of breakfast is around 8-10am
you wake up late so i guess you sleep late as well?
medically speaking, this is not healthy.
