The best breakfast I ever ate as a kid was square waffles (blueberry if possible) that had been toasted, and you get those "bricks" of ice cream or frozen yoghurt that come in like a block- then you slice it in 1 inch slices and sandwich it between two of the waffles. If you have a TON of kids, bake the waffles in big batches instead of toasting, in advance, and just slice the ice cream as they come up in line! Seriously- its the bombdiggity!!! I'm gonna go make this now lol

If you make pancakes or French toast, start making them before everyone is waiting around for breakfast and keep them warm in a low-temp oven.

There are some casserole recipes for things like "stuffed French toast" out there. You can put them together the night before and then pop it in the oven in the morning.

Cold breakfasts? Muffins, croissants or, if you don't mind the sugar, doughnuts and pastries are always a hit around here. Bagels and cream cheese and even lox are too. Fruit salad is good. Maybe make your own yogurt: let the kids mix their choice of fruit into vanilla yogurt, if they want, they can top it with granola.

For something that can be made ahead and served cold, how about devilled eggs? Peel hardboiled eggs and slice in half lengthwise. Keep the whites. Remove the yolks and mix them up with equal amounts of mustard and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the mixture back into the egg whites and serve as finger food. (Of course, these need to be refrigerated until served.)

You can't beat scrambled egg on toast! with orange or apple juice. an It take like 5 seconds cos its really good in the microwave, all you need is a few eggs, a a drop of milk, quick sprinkle of salt and pepper and then just grease the jug or bowl you use with a little butter so it's easy to clean after. Another good one for the weekends is the Full Irish brekie, soo good! Rashers (or bacon as they call it Stateside) sausages, fried eggs, pudding (white and black) and some good brown bread or a brown soda! savage good!!

You could make a large casserol of a Breakfast casserol. You get a dozen eggs, milk, hashbrowns, sausage, green peppers and then you mix it all up and pour it in the casserol dish and cook it 30 min or until brown on the top. Then you just put ketchup or salsa ontop. If you don't like idea you could serve cold cereal. You could go buy a bunch of bags of Malto Meal and milk and serve that. Kids like anything.

Good Luck!

There are alot of different things you could do...

Simple:
Cereal

Interesting:
Bugs on a log, basically a celery stick with peanut butter on it. Then you just put little raisins on it for the bugs.

Another healthy choice would be to put fruits and vegatbles on a plate to make people...

Yogart is good, or Tubes yogurt is good, there are alot of different kinds.
