Q&A: What is the absolute best solution to acne you’ve ever found?
Question by Mitchell: What is the absolute best solution to acne you’ve ever found?
My acne’s been steadily getting worse since I got off accutane last year, and going back on it isn’t an option. I would like to know what your best experience has been with a solution to acne, anything from prescriptions to something you whipped up at home.

I RUB cooking oil on my face T.T
and then i take some grese from KFC and make a chicken licken mask out of it.
after that i go to the local thai resturant and order the spiciest curry there just so i can
make an exfoliate
After that i go to the tanning salon ^_^, but BEFORE that i put cooking oil again than gets in .

2.5% benzoyl peroxide twice a day – this website (acne.org) shows you the best way to apply it to help get the maximum efficacy. Use a non-comedogenic soap like basis bar. Avoid talc-based makeup – mineral makeup is better. Jojoba oil is a great moisturizer after using the benzoyl peroxide, or on its own.
These are the best tricks I have come up with after 10 years of dealing with acne! My skin isn’t always perfect but it usually minimizes the blemishes.
I think some people have found luck with chemical peels or CO2 lasers.
I have been getting great results from Emc2 acne product. It did take awhile to work for me. Almost 2 months for me but some of my friends got faster results. Guess it all depends on the type of skin you have. Everyone is different so you might want to try other things. I tried a lot of things and most of them didn’t work for me but it might work for you.
Yep the same thing with me , as soon as I got off the accutane my acne just went crazy for a few months.I tried proactive and clearisil but that never worked that well , and I did some acne food diet which actually worked really well it got rid of for me really quick, you should check the site what has all the recipes http://www.Stopmyacne.info
Mild to moderately severe acne may be treated with over-the-counter gels, lotions, and creams such as benzoyl peroxide which is applied directly to the skin. Oral antibiotics may also be prescribed to reduce inflammation while oral contraceptives have also shown to improve acne.
Although Isotretinoin (Accutane) is one of the most effective treatments with successful results. However, all these medications can cause negative side effects and it is important that you inform your health practitioner or dermatologist immediately.
It is also important to develop a good skincare routine that involves cleansing your skin in the mornings, evenings and after workouts. By adjusting your lifestyle and incorporating a healthy diet, exercise, drinking lots of water and getting adequate sleep will also help to make a significant difference to your skin’s appearance.
Herbs have proven to be a more natural, gentle alternative for the treatment of acne rather than the harsh, synthetic chemicals used in over-the-counter products and conventional medications. Not only are herbal remedies safe and effective to use, they also support the skin, immune and digestive systems.
Two carefully selected herbal ingredients such as Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree Oil), Azadirachta indica and Arctium lappa contain antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties and are not only effective for acne but for other skin conditions too. Other herbs such as Aspalathus linearis (Rooibos) and Bulbine frutescence have wonderful antioxidant and healing properties and also help to prevent skin infection and provide ongoing relief. In addition, Lavender Essential Oil acts as a circulatory stimulant and antiseptic, and is used to treat burns and wounds and to prevent scarring.
