Is there an age past which people should not father/give birth to children?

Question by Ron C: Is there an age past which people should not father/give birth to children?
This isn’t a biological question – not about menopause or impotence. I was just wondering whether people out there think that there’s an arbitrary age when we shouldn’t reproduce for ethical, economic, psychological, or some other reason(s). Please explain why you think what you do. Thanks.

I beleive it goes both ways… shouldnt father/give birth until you are at least 25-35 (own your own home, and can afford one parent to stay home with kid)
also you shouldnt father/give birth past the age of 40 – you slow down and wont be able to keep up with the kid – also you will be retireing same age they are moving out.
