It may not be illegal if employees have a chance to eat, etc at their workstations. There are some exceptions for certain kinds of businesses.

In my state it is required by law to give an unpaid 30 minute meal break for an 8 hour work day and a paid 15 minute rest break is required for every 6 hours worked.

Here is a site with Federal regulations with links to state laws:
http://www.dol.gov/dol/topic/workhours/breaks.htm

Here is the labor board site for Ohio:

Q: Do employers need to give employees lunch and restroom breaks?

A: No, under Ohiolaw the employer is not required to give lunch or restroom breaks. However, if the employee is under 18 years of age, an employer is required to give the employee a half hour break for every 5 hours worked.

http://www.com.ohio.gov/laws/FAQ.aspx

Federal law has no requirement unless you are under 18

It would depend if they are on a contract that states such. It could be entirely legal. They might work 8 hours and get paid for 9 without lunch or breaks.

If there are 50 station and say 10 employees at each one you are talking about 500 employees at least. I would think one of them would of said something by now.

Why not ask one of the employees? Generally this is a federal issue not a state regulation since I have dealt with this before. Like another person said here.

Ohio Law is mute on the subject of required breaks. Federal law on makes rules about when the employer must pay an employee for breaks and when they don't have to.

You would have to check with the state labor board in Ohio as to what their rules are. Typically breaks are legally mandated, especially in an 8 hour shift.
